Went camping the weekend there with Opal, her bloke John, and about 16 people i'd never met before in my life. It was an interesting journey, as there was about 9 people in the back of a transit van, plus 12 peoples camping gear and booze also in the back of said van. Needless to say, space was not abundant.
Fotunately, twas only about an hour and a half drive, else i might have died/wept/shat.
We were at Loch Lubnaig, apparantly, and it was a pleasant enough spot. Not what i term 'proper camping' by any means, as we were in the car park by the bank about 10 feet from our tents, and the bank was populated by folk with similar ideas. Got set up, some scran on the go, terrified these strangers i was with with my array of blades, and got hideously drunk on the forst night on mead, rum, and australian wine procured from some ozzie guys camped just along from us that i drunkely decided to give some chat to about 3 in the morning.
However, come about half 5, i could not contain my chunder, and it was unleashed upon the pebbled beach, and a lovely colour of purple it was too. I then decided it was time for bed, so crawled into my tent, only to crawl out half an hour later to have yet another techicolour yawn. ah well.
The next day was spent pissing about , though i was remarkably unhungover, and wandering along the banks. Upon return, some of the randoms had drunk themselves into casualty states, and were lying comatose for the rest of the duration, which was impressive. Got the fore going, some baked tatties on, bed, sleep, up at 9 next morning, crammed into the VAN OF DOOM again, hame.
PC is dying again, looks like its upgradeing time, so currently looking through parts/prices to see what is feasible to get my mother to pay for. If i can do this for under 400, ill be amazed.
